A large number of members assembled for the traditional photograph and "Drive In" of new Vets Captain Steve Ling. A very respectable 159 yards, 2 feet 6 inches.
Their enthusiasm was however short lived as the weather proved to be the big winner on the day.
Results were as could have been expected although there is no truth in the rumour being spread around that the scoring was just a bid to allow the new captain to win at least one event in his year.
Congratulations to those that "survived" the appalling conditions and, in particular, to new Captain, Steve Ling, and John Wheatley for winning their respective divisions.
