SUMMER PAIRS FINAL – SEPTEMBER 2011
Peter DEASY/ Robin OWEN v Roger FLEUTY/ John KING
This match was refereed by the Captain and the Constable Course was in wonderful condition.
Peter and Robin quickly went three up with Robin hitting some great shots into the Greens, but Roger and John gradually pulled them back and once they had the momentum brought the match back to all square. After a number of halved holes Roger and John went two up and finally won the match 2 and 1 on the 17th Hole.
Although all contestants were trying their hardest to win, the match was played in a great spirit and a credit to all four players.
