The Rest won the event 14/ 6 on Hambro scoring although most of the matches were very close.
It is interesting to note that the two foreigners involved in the highest-scoring games for The Rest were those well -known immigrants Alex Giddens and Peter Deasy, although Peter claimed foreign ancestry, as his father was of Irish descent.
Alex claimed Spanish ancestry from the amount of time he’s spent sun-bathing there over the years.
