The Home match v Haverhill was played in glorious sunshine on the Gainsborough Course.
Captain for the day John Wheatley and Martin Brown led off and were soon 5 up! However this was not to last and their Captain Mick Couzins and Ernie Lloyd gradually closed the gap but we hung on for a win (2 and 1).
As a team we were soon 4 up with wins also from Rod Harman and John King, Roger Davies and Terry Maddams and Roger Doherty and Robin Tyrrell.
But again, Haverhillgradually fought back with their last three teams winning convincingly to achieve an honourable draw.
A very enjoyable day was had by all.
