At last we seem to be getting the hang of this match business.  I’m sure that those not suffering from dementia will remember “Je Sans Frontier”.  When the UK first took part we couldn’t win to save our lives.  Then we realised that it’s necessary to be nasty to the French whilst buttering up the Germans and hey presto we started to win the damn thing……..History lesson over  !

Anyway,  we played Frinton on the Gainsboro course and recorded a well earned victory.

However,  being the perfect hosts,  I am very proud of our lads for allowing Frinton to win the Raffle
