Inter Club Match v Colne Valley Away August 2011

We ended the week with a convincing win against Colne valley despite a number of walking wounded.

After john button had to leave the course not feeling too good,Alan burrows thought he would make our job even more difficult by hitting bob filer on the temple from around 100 yards.

Although a complete accident,only bob’s visor prevented a really nasty accident. -Alan we will let you play again but you may have to supply Bob with a few eggs. 

Thinking about it though thank goodness Bob was hit on the head – no chance of a brain injury

Despite these handicaps the team recorded a fine 5 to 3 win.
