After 3 victories the Captain hit a brick wall today, losing 5 and 3 to those two bandits Dave Austin & Bob Filer.

Ryan played for the first time and impressed everyone with his enormous length - even though it wasn't always straight (sounds like an extract from an Anne Summers catalogue).  On the 16th Constable, he not only, drove the green but went out of bounds in Keepers lane.

Austin & Filer tried a new tactic with Dave visiting the hedge after each hole played. 

Could well have been a meat pie he ate, the previous day, at Old Trafford but the constant interruptions (or was it eruptions) certainly had an adverse effect on his opponents.

Seriously, they were worthy winners and great company.  Our picture shows the happy couple, with Ryan before the match.
