Captain & Pro v John Simpson & Pete Wilkins
Well the Captain & Sarah were absolutely slaughtered by John and Pete. Whilst the Captain was average at best and Sarah was obviously intimidated by Simpson’s uncovered legs, both our opponents played some of the best golf I have witnessed during these matches.
Pete hit every tee shot down the middle and on the 3rd (Gainsboro) I had to hole a long putt for a birdie just to get a half.
Meanwhile John was putting everything - including 20 footers to win holes.
No excuses – we were well beaten on the day.
